The Louisville Zoo had much to offer in the way of babies and interesting exhibits. The docents at Louisville Zoo enjoyed visiting Brookfield Zoo and appreciated the flat terrain. That statement says a lot about Louisville Zoo which is built on the side of a long steep hill. The ridge of the hill is the top level of the zoo and then terraced down to the next level and down to the bottom of the hill for the third level. The design of the exhibits allowed visitors to view many animals. The expansion of the zoo that is taking place created enthusiam for a return visit.
